New Trier High School students in their senior year are eligible to apply for the New Trier Tyro Society.

Applicants must first apply to the New Trier High School Scholarship Fund and indicate their preference to apply for the Tyro Society on that application.

Applicants to the Society submit supplemental written applications and selected applicants will interview with a New Trier High School faculty member. Applicants are selected for induction into the Society by the New Trier High School Scholarship Fund committee.

New Trier High School students interested in applying may contact the Society or set up an appointment with Ms. Susan Thorngren in the New Trier Post-High School Counseling/Career Development Center on the Winnetka Campus.

Interested students from Tyro's sister program at Gary Comer College Preparatory School may contact the Society.
